It looks like we will finally be getting the ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ series in May with the most likely start date being the 4th.
A soon to be disciplined Disney employee Brandon San Giovanni, who is the enterprise program manager at Disney Plus, tweeted then quickly deleted that we would be saying “hello, there” to ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ in that month.

Marvel announced that they would be releasing an Obi-Wan comic in May and it looks like poor Brandon may have got the two mixed up. It makes sense that the comic would be released alongside the show to cash in on the hype.

Marvel Studios’ ‘Moon Knight’ finishes on 27th May leaving Disney+ without a prestige release on the 4th. With that being the now international recognised Star Wars day it makes that the logical start date.
Of course, nothing is confirmed until Disney announce it but the star appear to be aligning.
‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ stars Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen with all episodes directed by Deborah Chow.
