‘Elvis’ star Austin Butler is the latest addition to the ‘Dune: Part Two’ cast. The actor is in negotiations to play Feyd-Rautha in the Denis Villeneuve directed sci-fi sequel.
Feyd-Rautha, who was played Sting in the 1984 David Lynch version, is the younger nephew and heir of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. The character didn’t appear in the first film but is a major part of Frank Herbert’s novel.
Production is expected to start towards the end of the year and the film has a release date of 20th October 2023.
