Vanity Fair have published one of their now traditional Star Wars issues and have confirmed that Jon Watts is working on a series for Disney+.
The show has a working title of ‘Grammar Rodeo’, which is a reference to an episode of ‘The Simpsons’ in which Bart and his schoolmates steal a car and run away for a week, using a phony educational event as an alibi.
The show will be in the style of an ’80s coming of age adventure and be set in the post-‘Return Of The Jedi’ period like ‘The Mandalorian’. A casting notice has called for four children, around 11 to 12 years old.
The new series will most likely be officially unveiled at this month’s Star Wars Celebrations. There has been on release date or plot details revealed.
