Upcoming Star Wars series ‘The Acolyte’ is adding Jodie Turn-Smith to its cast list. There has been confirmation from Lucasfilm but the casting could be revealed at this weekend’s D23 event. She would be joining the already announced Amandla Stenberg.
The Leslye Headland created series was announced in December on 2020 and will be set during the last days of the High Republic era making it the earliest live-action production on the Star Wars timeline. The show is expected to revolve around the return of the Sith but no story or character details have been released.
Preproduction is currently underway with shooting expected to begin in London in the coming months.
