DC Studios have began the promotion of ‘Blue Beetle’ by releasing the first poster for the upcoming film at CCXP in Brazil.
The upcoming film is set to be the first major Latinx-led superhero film. Xolo Maridueña will star as Jaime Reyes, the third character to take the Blue Beetle name. It has be reported that a large amount of the film will be in the Spanish language.
The film will also star Harvey Guillén, George Lopez, Bruna Marquezine, Belissa Escobedo, Adriana Barraza, Elpidia Carrillo and Damián Alcázar. Susan Sarandon and Raoul Max Trujillo will play the villains Victoria Kord and Carapax.
‘Blue Beetle’ will be released on 18th August 2023.
