Netflix had massive success with the ‘Fear Street’ trilogy when they released it over the course of two weeks last summer and there has been talk of a fourth film ever since.
It is now being reported on Above The Line via the The Hot Mic that Chloe Okuno has been tapped to direct the next installment. Okuno made her name helming psychological thriller ‘Watcher’.
The trilogy were all directed by Leigh Janiak and based of the novels by R.L. Stine. There is no news on whether Janiak is involved in the new film or what novels it will be based on.
