It has been reported that a new ‘Star Wars’ film may be about to go into production.
There have been rumblings about a secret Star Wars project, that was being overseen by Damon Lindelof, since March of 2022 with more solid rumours come towards the end of the year that it was a film that would be co-written by Justin Britt Gibson with Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy (‘Ms. Marvel’) attached to direct. It now looks like the preproduction may have progressed further than people had expected and the project is nearly ready to go before cameras with filming set to begin in April.
The film is said to have a new set of leads, but some characters from the Sequel trilogy look set to make an appearance. In recent months Daisy Ridley has been spotted at the Lucasfilm ranch and posted about it on social media.
If these rumours prove to be true then it is set up for the film to be official announced at Star War Celebration Europe which will be taking place between the 7th and 10th of April.
