Paramount+ has given out a straight-to-series order for an eight episode series adaptation of the RPG ‘Dungeons & Dragons’.
‘Dodgeball’ writer/director Rawson Marshall Thruber pitched the series and will write and direct at least the first episode. The series will be co-produced by Paramount Pictures and eOne.
The two companies are also behind ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’, which is due for release on 31st March. There has been no comments on whether the two projects will be linked.
This will be eOne’s largest ever TV project with hopes that it will be the launch pad for further ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ content in the future.
