The lastest Marvel rumour to be dropped by Jeff Sneider on The Hot Mic is that acclaimed actor Ed Harris is joining the MCU.
Harris is reportedly up for the role of Neal Saroyan in the upcoming ‘Wonder Man’ Disney+ series. Saroyan is the talent agent of Simon Williams/Wonder Man who goes above and beyond to promote his client. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is onboard as Wiiliams.
The cast also includes Ben Kingsley reprising his ‘Iron Man 3’ and ‘Shang-Chi’ role of actor Trevor Slattery and Demetrius Grosse will play Eric Williams, Simon’s brother.
Destin Daniel Cretton (‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’) and writer-producer Andrew Guest (‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’) are developing the show and Guest will serve as head writer. The show is expected to shoot soon and will be released some time next year.
