Marvel Studios’ ‘Thunderbolts’ is their latest big production to be affected by the the writers strike. Filming was due to start next month but has now been paused with the Studio telling crew that the production will resume once the strike is over.
‘Thunderbolts’ joins ‘Blade’ and ‘Wonder Man’ as being on hiatus until the writers are paid what they are worth.
There has been no official announcements from Marvel about the situation or potential release date changes. At the moment ‘Thunderbolts’ is list as 26th July next year with ‘Blade’ to follow on 6th September. Expect these dates to be pushed back if no agreement is reach with the Writers Guild in the coming weeks.
