Julia Garner has been picked to take on the role of the Silver Surfer in Marvel Studios’ upcoming The Fantastic Four. They will be playing an alternate version of the character named Shalla-Bal that originated in the comics.
The Silver Surfer is traditionally Norrin Radd and that was who appeared in Fox’s Fantastic Four: The Rise Of The Silver Surfer.
Garner made their name in Ozark and is currenting shooting Universal’s and Blumhouse’s Wolfman remake.
The Fantastic Four will be directed by Matt Shakman and also star Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
The Fantastic Four will be released on 25th July, 2025.
