James Gunn has picked Pruitt Taylor Vince for the role of Jonathan Kent, the adoptive father of Clark, in his now shooting Superman.
The character has previously been played on the big screen by Glenn Ford in Superman: The Movie and Kevin Costner in Man Of Steel.
Taylor Vince joins a cast that includes David Corenswet as Superman, Nicolas Hoult as Lex Luther and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. The actor is no stranger to comic book material, having appeared in the likes of The Walking Dead, Agents Of SHIELD, and Constantine, as well as many other genre projects.
Superman has a release date of 11th July, 2025.
