Danny Boyle’s ’28 Years Later’ To Star Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson And Ralph Fiennes

The first film in Danny Boyle’s and Alex Garland’s new zombie trilogy for Sony has found its leads.

Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson And Ralph Fiennes are set to star in 28 Years Later, a follow up to the pair’s 2002 horror classic 28 Days Later.

Boyle will once again be directing from Garland’s script and they will both produce alongside the the original film’s producer Andrew Macdonald. 28 Days Later star Cillian Murphy is also back as executive producer and may appear in the new film.

No details on the plot or characters have been released but Sony are looking to get the production moving quickly and have already set Nia DaCosta to direct the second film in the new series, with the plan to shoot the first two back to back.
