One of the biggest surprises of the Marvel Studio’s Comic-Con panel on Saturday afternoon was the announcement the Natalia Portman was returning to the ‘Thor’ franchise. Not only that but she was is also going to take up the mantel of the hero.
The film will be titled ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ and has ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ director Taika Waititi returning along with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie.
Waititi says he has pulled from plot from Jason Aaron’s mammoth comic book run on the character, part of which saw Portman’s Jane Foster become the female Thor.
“Thor: Love and Thunder” will be released 5th November 2021.
