‘No Time To Die’ standout Ana de Armas is in talks to play the lead in ‘Ballerina’, a female spin on the ‘John Wick’ franchise. The concept was setup in ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’.
De Armas will play a trained dancer, who is also an elite assassin, out for revenge against the people who killed her family.
Len Wiseman will direct from a script by Shay Hatten, the writer of ‘John Wick 3’ and the upcoming ‘John Wick 4’ which is due out next year. ‘John Wick’ director Chad Stahelski is producing and it is hoped that Keanu Reeves will cameo.
