We still don’t know when we are going to see the first season of ‘Rogue One’ prequel, ‘Andor’, but talk has already moved onto season two. Stellan Skarsgård, who has an unnamed role in the series, said in an interview with Swedish outlet Dagens Nyheter that he would be back on set this year.

We start with ‘Dune’: Part 2 in July. And then in the Autumn, it’s time for the second season of the Star Wars series ‘Andor‘… I do not know when they will start broadcasting it. It will take some time, so that it does not take too long between Season One and Season Two.

This is further confirmation that ‘Andor’ will be a multi-season show following on from Alan Tudyk’s announcement that his droid character, K-2SO, won’t be appearing in the first season but will turn up later.

Season one of ‘Andor’, which stars Diego Luna as Rebel spy Cassian Andor and will consist of twelve episodes, has finished filming and is expected to air on Disney+ sometime between ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’, which starts in May, and ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3, that is expected to begin in December.
