Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Katee Sackhoff took the stage during the Lucasfilm presentation at Star Wars Celebration to talk about the third season of ‘The Mandalorian’ and debut the first footage. The teaser was just for those in the room and has not been released officially online.
The teaser began with the Mandalorian telling an unhappy Armourer that he was going back to Mandalor to make amends for removing his helmet – a way of recapping events for people who didn’t watch ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’.
Other shots confirm the return of Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) and the planet Navarro. Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) and Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) are also seen. The stinger to the footage was a shot of Din Djarin approaching Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan as she sits upon what looks like a Mandalorian throne.
The bad news is that we won’t be seeing the show this year, it will debut on Disney+ in February 2023.
