Two years ago Marvel’s Kevin Feige announced that an ‘Armor Wars’ series starring Don Cheadle was being developed for Dinsey+ as an event. Since then there has been hardly any news.
At the recent D23 event Feige and Cheadle confirmed the series is still in development and would be connect to ‘Secret Invasion’ in which Cheadle will appear. .
The plan has now changed and the project is being developed as a film. Cheadle will still star and Yassir Lester, who was head writer on the series will move onto the film. Production was due to start early next month but this will most likely change as the project is retooled.
No release date or director has been officially attached.
