
David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, the writer of ‘The Conjuring 2’ and ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’, is returning to write the fourth film in the series. The film will once again be produced by James Wan and Peter Safran who have worked on all eight films in ‘The Conjuring’ Universe which include the currently in production ‘The Nun 2’.
The films are based around the experiences of real life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren who have been portrayed by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The pair are expected to return for this instalment.
Johnson-McGoldrick was most recently hired to deliver a draft of a sequel to “The Flash” opening next year. He also wrote ‘Aquaman’ And ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’, both of which are also for Wan and Safran.
