Various outlets and Twitter accounts, including The Express, The Direct, HypeBeast, Murphy’s Multiverse, KoiMoi.com, Cosmic Circus, @SpideyUpdated, and @Culture_Spider are suggesting that Tom Holland is close to signing a mega-deal that would see him return to the MCU in numerous projects.
Holland, who has been playing Peter Parker since 2016’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’, has been quiet on his future as the web-slinger since the release of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ but scoopers suggest his next film is being lined up for 2024. There is also a hint that he might appear in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ before this.
It is likely that a new contract would include a new Spidey trilogy, which has already been claimed by Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal, as well as appearances in the two upcoming Avengers films. There is probably also some wiggle room to allow any cameos where needed.
Even though this has been widely reported it does still have to be taken with a pinch of salt as none of the major trade are yet to run the story and there have been no official statements.
