
Steven Yeun (‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Nope’, ‘Minari’) has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ ‘Thunderbolts’ in what is said to be a key and ongoing role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He will be joining the announced cast of Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.
There are no details on what character he will be playing but the film, which will be directed by Jake Schreier from a script by Eric Pearson, will focus on a group of villains who are sent on missions commissioned by the government. The film will see Harrison Ford taking over the role of “Thunderbolt” Ross from the late William Hurt with the character now being the US president.
‘Thunderbolts’ will be released on 26th July 2024.
