Jon Bernthal will once again play Frank Castle A.K.A. The Punisher in Marvel Studios’ upcoming ‘Daredevil: Born Again’. Bernthal originally played the role to critical acclaim in the second season of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ and two seasons of his own show.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will see Charlie Cox back as the blind vigilante following cameos in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and ‘She-Hulk’ and Vincent D’Onofrio return as Kingpin after appearing in ‘Hawkeye’. Both characters are rumoured to also be appearing in ‘Echo’. It is unclear how connected the new series will be to the Netflix’s version of the characters.
The eighteen episode ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has just started production and is expected to be release next year.
