Damon Lindelof and Justin Britt-Gibson have stepped away from the Star Wars film they were writing for Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy to direct.
The pair were part of a writers room, which was also rumoured to include Dave Filoni, that was set up last years. They complete a draft of the script in February and then exited the project.
A new unnamed writer is already attached and the planned release date remains 19th December 2025.
The film is expected to be announce at Star Wars Celebration Europe on 7th April.
