Vanity Fair has released the first set of official photos from Marvel’s upcoming ‘Secret Invasion’ event series.
The images show the returning Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) and Martin Freeman (Everett K. Ross). The newcomers to the MCU are Olivia Colman as Sonia Falsworth, Emilia Clarke as G’iah and Kingsley Ben-Adir as Gravik.
‘Secret Invasion’ is based on the comic series Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales and Laura Martin. That series will follow Nick Fury as he uncovers a radicalized faction of the Skrulls, led by Gravik, who are looking to install double agents into positions of power around the world. The MCU introduced the Skrulls in ‘Captain Marvel’.
‘Secret Invasion’ is rumoured to being on 21st June.
