Star Wars Celebration Europe is about to begin and the rumours are growing before the official announcements.
Jeff Sneider is reporting, via The Hot Mic, that Dave Filoni, highly regarded for his work on ‘The Clone Wars’, ‘Star Wars Rebels’ and ‘The Mandalorian’ as well many other Star Wars projects, will be getting his own film.
Lucasfilm is trying to codify the SW universe around the worlds that Filoni and Jon Favreau have created”, and that’s partly why the other movies and shows have been scrapped recently. As he puts it simply: “Filoni = New Lucas.

Filoni, who co-created the character of Ahsoka, is currently the showrunner of ‘Ahsoka’, which will be the next show to debut on Disney+. There is a high chance the trailer for that show will be released at some point today.
