Nic Pizzolatto, creator of HBO’s ‘True Detective’, is the latest writer to have a crack at ‘Blade’ for Marvel Studios. ‘Blade’ star, Mahershala Ali, was the lead of the third season of Pizzolatto’s show.
‘Blade’ has been stuck in development hell since it was announced back in 2019 but will now be directed by Yann Demange and production is set to start in May. The most recent draft of the script was written by Michael Starrbury.
At the moment, ‘Blade’ has a release date of 6th September, 2024.
