Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures have put a second new Evil Dead film into development.
Francis Galluppi has been picked to write and direct a new film in the franchise that will be based on an original idea he brought to Raimi. His debut film, the crime thriller The Last Stop in Yuma County, comes out next month.
Francis Galluppi is a storyteller who knows when to keep us waiting in simmering tension and when to hit us with explosive violence. He is a director that shows uncommon control in his feature debut.

Ghost House Pictures already have Sébastien Vaniček (Infested) developing an Evil Dead spin-off, which was announced earlier in the year.
