The Superman sequel Man Of Tomorrow will see Xolo Maridueña return to the role of Blue Beetle. This will be his first appearance as the character since his debut in the 2023 film.
The film already stars David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Lars Eidinger as Brainiac, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Adria Arjona as Maxima or possibly Wonder Woman, and Aaron Pierre as Green Lantern.
Maridueña plays the third character to take the mantle of Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes, a popular El Paso teen.
Originally part of the DCEU, it is not clear if the Blue Beetle film is now considered part of the DCU.
Man Of Tomorrow has a release date of 9th July 2027.
