
Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 action classic Point Break is finally getting a sequel with a series set in the same world as the film.
More than three decades after the events of the original Point Break film, a new heist crew inspired by the Ex-Presidents has emerged, and the FBI must rely on a mysterious ex-pro surfer with a checkered past to infiltrate them.

The film starred the late Patrick Swayze as a bank robbing surfer and Keanu Reeves as the undercover FBI agent who infiltrates his gang.
Dave Kalstein (NCIS: Los Angeles, Treadstone) and Christopher C. Rogers (Sugar, Halt And Catch Fire) will be co-showrunners on the series for AMC.
