Originally ‘Fast X’ was set to be the last film in the Toretto family saga but then an eleventh film was announced. Now it appears that ‘Fast X’ will be the first part of a trilogy.
On the red carpet for ‘Fast X’, Vin Diesel let slip that the studio are so happy with what they have seen that they want to stretch the farewell out for another film.
Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter. And after the studio saw this one, they said, ‘Could you make “Fast X,” the finale, a trilogy?’

Michelle Rodriguez added “It’s three acts in any story” before Diesel cut the interviewer off by saying “You’re gonna get me in trouble here.”
The has been no official comment from Universal.
‘Fast X’ director Louis Leterrier is returning for the eleventh film which will be written by Christina Hodson (‘The Flash’) and Oren Uziel (‘The Lost City’)
‘Fast X’ is released on 19th May.
